Il tessuto strutturato SELINDA, utilizzato specificatamente per il rivestimento degli ombrelli, presenta una resistenza alla luce pari al grado 6*. Il filato è realizzato al 100% in poliestere. Il tessuto è trattato per resistere allo sporco e, oltre alle sue proprietà idrorepellenti, è caratterizzato da una colonna d'acqua di 500 mm.
A seconda dell'esposizione agli agenti atmosferici e ai raggi UV, il colore del tessuto del rivestimento può subire variazioni. Si tratta solo di un cambiamento estetico che non comporta alcuna modifica delle caratteristiche tecniche del tessuto. Le variazioni di colore non costituiscono quindi motivo di reclamo.
